Well that’s another exclusive prelude up on iTunes, for A Town Called Mercy this time. So unless you’re on iTunes you’ll need to wait to the DVD/Blu Ray release to see it.

Anyway………
On one hand I’m a bit annoyed I didn’t get to see this Prelude before last Saturday’s A Town Called Mercy, but on the other it would have ruined the revelation of Jax’s involvement with the Gunslinger.
I genuinely don’t understand the need to make any part of Doctor Who restricted. It puzzled me when it was suggested for Torchwood: Miracle Day, even if that only ended up being an extended trailer on the UK version, and I still don’t understand it now.
A quick YouTube search reveals no such prelude for Dinosaurs on a Spaceship (although don’t take my word for it, it was a very quick search) so it would appear that this isn’t happening for every episode of the new series. The real question now is when will it happen next and will it be generally available prior to the episode it’s serving as a prelude to?

I’m with you on this one. I really don’t get why they’re making it restricted. If you want to reach as many people as possible, why put special content on iTunes when you can put it on YouTube? Put it everywhere, dammit!
It’s great that there are people out there who will put it on YouTube anyway – but they shouldn’t have to.
P.S. – There isn’t one for Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, your quick search was correct.
