As disparaging images go how about a lone Dalek stalking the streets of Norwich – along with a Predator, Rimmer from Red Dwarf and the Doctor himself – demanding that you hand over your small change?
No, this isn’t some rift in the space time continuum causing fictional characters to bleed into reality but a mission by volunteers from the Norwich Sci-Fi Club, to raise money for a trio of local charities selected by the Nor-Con Sci-Fi Convention before it opens its door on the 1st September – reports Norwich Evening News.
Sci-Fi celebrities in attendance will be the Sixth Doctor and his companion Colin Baker and Nicola Byrant as well Kryten himself Robert Llewellyn and renowned Marvel comic illustrator Barry Kitson, who will be doing watercolour sketches for a charity donation.
Sarah Owen, 23, who works for Scope and is a member of the Norwich Sci-Fi Club, said the day was a success.

“The Sixth Doctor and his companion Colin Baker”
I can’t tell if that’s a typo or a very neat turn of phrase
