Building the hype for the upcoming 50th anniversary, Matt Smith has weighed in on what he thinks will happen (he’s already stated that he “doubts there will be a regeneration”) for the occasion.
One of the things he’s suggested is a live episode, such as the ones EastEnders and Coronation Street have attempted in their anniversary years.
This has the potential to be good, provided they don’t shoehorn in loads of unwanted interactivity to cope with the inevitable lack of CGI and so forth. For example, “To make the Doctor reverse the polarity of the neutron flow, press the red button.”
We’ll give you his exact words to mull over and you can tell us what you think via the comments!
And if there’s any word that defines Doctor Who, it’s “different”.

I’d rather see something good, rather than just something that is gimmicky.
