Rory and Amy: life without the Doctor

In the run up to the newly confirmed Series 7 premiere on Saturday 1st, the BBC have announced a series of mini-videos (known as “webisodes”, and attempted before – such as 2006′s “TARDISodes”).

Airing once a day from Monday to Friday, Pond Life aims to take the viewer through a short glimpse into the everyday life of the Ponds before the Doctor arrives to disrupt their lives. (We estimate each episode would be about 1:30-2:00 each.)

The mini adventures are written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Saul Metzstein, and will be available in a collected omnibus edition on Saturday thanks to the BBC Red Button function.

We look forward to noon on Monday, when the first mini episode hits the Doctor Who website!
