David Tennant’s New Drama “very promising”
Here at the K, we’re not just about the current goings-on in the world of Who and obviously as a consequence of this we like to keep track of the former stars of the show. In that vein, it’s nice to see what David Tennant is doing outside of Who. He was part of a discussion panel at an event that showed off part of his upcoming BBC Four drama, The Spies Of Warsaw.
For the uninformed, the drama is
A thrilling spy story set in Poland, Paris, London & Berlin in the years leading up to the Second World War. At the French embassy, the new military attaché, Colonel Jean-Francois Mercier (Tennant), a decorated war hero of the 1914 war, is drawn into a world of abduction, betrayal and intrigue in the diplomatic salons and back alleys of Warsaw.
The clip has been praised, according to David Tennant News, by people who’ve called it “great”, “intriguing” and “very promising”. The series is expected to air in October in two instalments of 90 minutes each, and we sure hope it’s good! We’ll keep you updated with more news as we get it.
