“Don’t miss your chance to be among the first to see ‘Asylum of the Daleks,’the season premiere of the all-new series, before the premiere on BBC AMERICA’S Supernatural Saturday, coming this Fall.

“Tickets cost 11¢ (with a $1 surcharge) in honor of the Eleventh Doctor.

“We will announce the venue and ticket information tomorrow. Tickets go on sale TOMORROW Thursday, August 16 and will be made available exclusively through a link shared by the @BBCAmerica Twitter handle. Tickets will sell out fast so follow @BBCAmerica to be informed of the link as soon as it goes live!”

Meanwhile, there remains no confirmation of air date or scheduling for BBC America. However, Doctor Who Online has noted that the BBC America schedule for September 1st features a whole day of Doctor Who Series 6 culminating at 8pm with The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobefor two hours! (Go here, then select SAT 9.1)

It would make perfect sense for Asylum of the Daleks to be slotted in at 9pm on September 1st, thereby enabling US fans to enjoy Doctor Who alongside their British friends once again!

One Response to American Asylum!

  1. I have a very good reason to believe that two hour slot for The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe is intended as a placeholder for when the Series 7 premiere is likely to start. The schedule previously noted the 2011 Christmas Special as having a 60 minute length as is often the case with repeat airings. On that note, Mind The Gap.
