Matt Smith as the Doctor

New Episode Four Reshoot Pics

Matt Smith as the DoctorLike the proverbial Rubik Cube the Doctor Who crew can’t stop tinkering with those pesky cubes alone. Matt Smith was back in his finest tweed for yet more reshoots for episode four entitled which WENN who have provide several shots believed to be titled Cubed reports SFX.

In the two shots Matt can be seen investigating one of the (allegedly) titular cubes with a rather fancy monocle – or one half of a set of Victorian reading glasses (this is the Doctor, after all) – while sitting in the middle of a children’s climbing rope climbing frame.

Rumours abound that this episode will see the return of UNIT as cubes begin appearing across the globe.

The episode is one of two written by returning scribe Chris Chibnall (Torchwood) and will feature Mark Williams (Being Human, The Fast Show), Steven Berkoff (Octopussy) Stephen Blything (Vampires in Venice), Ruthie Henshall (Curb Your Enthusiasm), and Jemma Redgrave (Law & Order UK).

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
