Celebrate, Regenerate!

New fanzine Celebrate, Regenerate needs your contributions!Fancy contributing towards a fan complied Doctor Who book spanning every televised episode or just fancy reading a smorgasbord of opinions from fans across the globe?

Well Celebrate, Regenerate – an entirely fan compiled book – are looking for contributors to help bring this project to fruition.

Starting on Friday 13th July, the project has already raised a huge amount of interest – including including Toby Hadoke, Robert Shearman and Ed Stradling from the DVD range – thanks to celebrity retweets (from Marcus Wilson, Sophie Aldred, Tom Spilsbury, Nicola Bryant, Barnaby Edwards and various other Doctor Who writers, actors and enthusiasts) and people spreading the word.

You might be thinking ‘well there are only so many episodes; how am I going to get my entry into the book?’ Well my curious friends, the project based around this blog are looking for multiple submissions for every episode with the aim to publish everyone’s 300- 500 word articles – with the tantalising USP of total freedom to write what takes your fancy within those episodes.

The submission deadline is 1st October due to the overwhelming interest the project has raised so far with the aim of producing an A4 book and an online flash ‘zine soon after.

So if you’re interested in contributing get in touch via the Celebrate, Regenerate Facebook page or celebrateregenerate.blogspot.co.uk.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
