J.T. Colgan will be signing copies of her new Doctor Who book, Dark Horizons, early in July.
The author – best-known for her ‘chick-lit’ novels like Amanda’s Wedding, Sixteen Again and, most recently, Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe – will be signing her first Doctor Who book at Forbidden Planet’s London Megastore on Tuesday 10th July, 6- 7pm.
Dark Horizons features the Eleventh Doctor as he battles marauding Vikings and The Burning – a fire that consumes all, cannot be stopped by water and leaves its victims to tell the story of the day they were burned.
At the age of 11, Jenny won a nationwide competition to meet the Doctor; unfortunately, Peter Davison mistook her for a boy! Still, this encounter hasn’t put her off the show, as she says:
“Writing Dark Horizons has been, as my friends and family already know, a dream come true for me. I grew up on Terrance Dicks and I’m beyond thrilled to be joining the ranks of Doctor Who novelists.”
You can see Jenny in person, but if you can’t make it, pre-order a signed copy of the book online!
And you can expect a review of Dark Horizons by your Friendly Neighbourhood Editor, Christian, soon!
