If there’s one thing the Eleventh Doctor won’t pass up, it’s the opportunity to wear some outlandish head gear – be it Fez, Top Hat or Stetson, there’s no fashion faux he won’t place jauntily upon his head.

And we love him for it – so to celebrate the Mad Man in a Hat Box artist Aimee Steinberger aka Deviant Art user ~aimeekitty – award winning fan costumer and Assistant Director on Futurama – has designed ‘Hats are Cool’ a suitably stylish look at a deeply unstylish man.

The piece was made for the fan artshow at next year’s Gallifrey One Convention – which runs from 15th to 17th February – and fans will be able to bid on the item at the conventions auction.

So far confirmed guests for Gallifrey One are: Philip Hinchcliffe, Mark Strickson, Nicholas Pegg, Tony Lee and many many more.
