Doctor Who Fans Meet at Con Kasterborous, Alabama!

Are you an American Doctor Who fan? Are you a British Doctor Who fan in America? Are you from elsewhere in the world, living in America and wondering where you can find other like-minded (and impeccably intelligent) Doctor Who fans for a bit of a chin wag?

Fear no more, because the first Doctor Who convention to take place in Huntsville, North Alabama will be taking place this Saturday and Sunday (June 9th and 10th respectively) at the Holiday Inn near Madison Square Mall!

Con Kasterborous, as it will be called, will feature a multitude of events for you to attend and take part in. Kelly Yates will give a talk on pencilling for Doctor Who comics; there will be a panel discussion on the finer points of Doctor Who Cosplay, Lady Soliloque will talk about writing in the Doctor Who and Torchwood fandom world and there will also be a swap shop for you to complete your Doctor Who collection of DVD’s books, comics and all the rest!

That’s only covering some of the events that are taking place on the Saturday; Sunday has plenty to offer as well!

A two day ticket will only set you back $35.00, if you can only attend one of the days then Saturday will be $20.00 or Sunday will be $15.00 (all prices are per person). If you have any nippers then feel free to bring them along, children under 6 years old get in for free!

This is a day not just for Doctor Who fans but for all enthusiasts of the sci-fi genre, have a look at the official website of the event for more details!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
