Event In The Library

The Pete's World Cybermen variants from Doctor WhoIf you or children that you know are denizens of Slough, they may be shaken out of their abject misery by the knowledge that Slough Library is holding a Doctor Who event!

Taking place on Friday 8th June, the event allows children and adults alike to have a bit of magic injected into their mundane lives.

Watch: Children get scared out of their wits by the appearance of a Dalek and a Cyberman! (These will be appearing by Emergency Temporal Shift at 10am, 11:30am, 2pm and 3:30pm.)

Take: Photos of yourself or loved ones next to some Doctor Who life-size standees!

Win: Doctor Who stuff! (This is likely to take the form of Goody bags.)

Loiter: Awkwardly as your children have the time of their lives!

As far as I can tell, this event is definitely one for the children, but that doesn’t mean that adults can’t have a bit of fun too!
