Why Is Karen Crying?

Has the moment that Karen Gillan waved farewell to cast and crew while filming on location for Doctor Who Series 7 been captured on camera?

With more shooting set to take place in New York in the very near future, this cannot be the “final end” as described by the Daily Record, but the departing star certainly appears extremely emotional.

But then, she *could* be acting…

Someone witnessing the moment is quoted as saying:

“Karen seemed clearly upset as she had to wave goodbye. She looked absolutely lovely though – fans will miss her.”

It seems that the scenes recorded this week were from the first episode of the series which airs later this year. Karen looks stunning in the photos, but we reckon that her demeanour is that of an actress, not an emotional wreck.

She’s got a few more weeks left yet…
