New Doctor Who companion Jenna-Louise Coleman

Jenna on “Character”

So we don’t yet know what the new Doctor Who companion is called (not Jasmine, obviously, eh Moffat?) but Jenna-Louise Coleman certainly seems to be… excited.

Speaking to What’s On TV, Jenna recalled her audition with Matt Smith.

“Matt was in the audition with me and made me feel like we were in it together. He says we’re going to have the best time ever!”

Elsewhere the actress has been chatting – as you would expect – to Doctor Who Magazine, on the more in-depth topic of the unnamed character who definitely isn’t called Jasmine (after all, that was the name of the role she played in Emmerdale.)

“I know what my introduction is… I have a general idea of where we’re going to go. There’s definitely a story arc.

“It sounds really interesting, really exciting. I don’t think anything’s been done like it before, but there are lots of secrets and intrigue, and I think it’s going to throw and confuse a lot of people, and surprise a lot of people.”

Secrets and intrigue? Confusion and surprise?

Must be a Steven Moffat-era Doctor Who!
