Deep, Gold-en, Southern Fried Who

Sometimes, you just stumble on things. Other times, people send you great links. So kudos to K contributor (Super) Scott Varnham for sending me this wee clip…

A few months ago, one M Gold was spotted on YouTube anonymously performing “I Am The Doctor” on piano; this week, the talented creator of audio layers and love, wars and weeping, heart and soul has been spotted performing a bluegrass version of the legendary Doctor Who theme tune…

I love it. Despite that fact I’ve been working on a similar slide version on my 12 string guitar (which naturally will not see the light of day) Murray has cracked a great bit of dirty Whovian music out there – you can almost smell the horses.

We wonder… could this be a piece that we might actually hear in Series 7, or is it purely something that was insanely deemed unsuitable?

It would be fantastic if this was used in some way as the opening them for the Spaghetti Western episode.
