The Minister of Chance Video Sizzler

It started as an idea. Then the idea grew into a character, and then the character became so synonymous that Doctor Who fans could not deny his existence.

The Minister of Chance breathed life into BBCi’s Death Comes To Time in 2001; originally played with immaculate precision by Stephen Fry, this Time Lord who was similar to the Doctor but different in many ways, becoming a part of Doctor Who canon (not to all, but to many).

Now, after his own spin off series, there’s the chance to see him in a live action movie. All of his mystery, all of his majesty, all of it will be explored and we will hopefully, finally, find out more about this enigmatic character.

The trailer for the film is online now and it promises to answer an interesting premise, something that has mystified many for a while, eight words that will surely grab your attention if you’re a Doctor Who fan:

“I will show you how a Time Lord dies”.

We all know about the moment before death, the one that leads to regeneration but what of a full death? One that no Time Lord can truly come back from?

It looks like we may find out…

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
