Is this the one?
Has the Doctor Who game duck finally been broken?
BBC Worldwide has announced today that the console game Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will launch globally, initially on PS3 and PS Vita via the PlayStation Network in March 2012 with a PC version due shortly after.
The first game-play trailer below showcases the monsters in the game…
Gameplay pits players against the most feared monsters from the Doctor Who Universe – the Cybermen, Daleks, Silurians and The Silence. At present early rumours of the game being an MMO look tenuous, but it certainly appears to move away from the pattern seen recently across various platforms in favour of a more action-based premise.
In the game players will be able to take control of both the Doctor and River Song (voiced by Matt Smith and Alex Kingston) to unravel the mystery of The Eternity Clock in March 2012. The clock is ticking…

This actually looks pretty good, but then again I will always play a Who game…good, bad or otherwise (err still waiting for good actually – though I will always have a soft spot for Destiny of the Doctors thanks to Anthony Ainley and its voice cast)
Hope they do downloadable content like past doctors or companions – imagine bombing about as Pertwee with Venusian Aikido or as Ace lobbing nitro nine…oh the possibilities…..
