McCoy and Aldred: Ministers of Chat

Shadowlocked were lucky enough to sit down with The Minster of Chance cohorts and former Doctor and ‘Ace’ companion Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred to discuss everything from Sophie’s almost appearance in The Sarah Jane Adventures to Sylvester’s idea for just how the old Doctors could appear in the 50th Anniversary celebrations.

The chinwag lasted over an hour and will soon be appearing on the Minster of Chance website – which sees this preview’s brace of anecdotes and raises it a few titbits on The Hobbit, a fair few moments reminiscing about the past and a theatrical tale featuring Gandalf himself Sir Ian McKellen.

Head over to the Minister of Chance site for more on the fabulous audio spin-off adventure or even donate to hear some more in the future!

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
