Comic Book Incarnations in Statue Form

Dynamix Ultra Stylised Figure: 10th DoctorBig Chief Studios – the craftsmen behind incredibly detailed Eleventh Doctor figurine – are offering a different take on the Tenth Doctor with this Doctor Who Dynamix Ultra Stylised Vinyl Figure.

It looks like the result of a game of Win, Lose or Draw only with Naoko Takeuchi being prompted by a collection of barely-celebrities trying to capture the Tenth Doctor using nothing but the vague descriptions barked at him: “Stick thin“, “Long Coat”, “Red Converse” ,“Blue Suit.”

As for the hair…!

Taking their cues from the IDW Doctor Who series the figurine is limited to just 300 copies and comes complete with a Doctor Who logo base (although it looks like a Pertwee/McGann-style logo rather than the taxi cab style logo from the RTD era) and comic book style window box .

The figure is just one of 3000 and can be pre-order now for £59.99 from Forbidden Planet with the item expected to stand around looking stylish in their Warehouse of Precious Things on 27th May 2012.

About the Author

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
