Doctor Who News Matt Smith is the Eleventh Doctor

Published on December 6th, 2011 | by Christian Cawley

Christmas Day is fast approaching, so what better time than now for the BBC to release a much-anticipated teaser for The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe?

Featuring Matt Smith talking to himself, the clip is a great way to get in the mood for the next episode of Doctor Who, an adventure that will live long in our memories not least because there will be a fair few months until the next one!

But enough of me; here’s the Doctor…

Don’t forget, you can catch The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe 7pm on Christmas Day on BBC One in the UK (or later in the evening on BBC iPlayer) while overseas, BBC America are broadcasting the episode on December 25th 9/8c while Canada’s SPACE channel also has a Christmas broadcast at 9pm!

Liking Matt Smith more and more – his doctor is a much better character than DT’s doctor. Just needs to move on from rory , amy and the river song stuff now
I hope we are in for more of his darker side next year,

BBC One released a trailer, but if you expect the UK-side of the company to show it in HD, you’re wasting your time…

Fortunately, BBC America seem to always have their feet on the ground when it comes to trailers:
