Doctor Who: Most Downloaded Series

Doctor Who - iTunes Success!
The Whovians have spoken! Loyal Doctor Who fans have elevated the show to the very top of iTunes list of most downloaded full TV Seasons for 2011 writes The Hollywood Reporter.
Perhaps its testament to the tricky, twisty nature of Season 6 that fans have chosen to download the whole season rather than individual episodes; a theory that pans out when looking at the Best Selling Individual Episodes of which Doctor Who has zero contributions while others in the top ten season downloads like Modern Family, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead have at least one entry in that list.

Doctor Who beat Modern Family to the top spot with Dexter, Breaking Bad, and True Blood filling out the top five.

3. Dexter
4. Breaking Bad
5. True Blood
6. Top Gear
7. Glee
8. Entourage
9. Archer
10. The Walking Dead

It’s quite a list, and is testament to the Time Lord’s continuing growth in popularity.
