Amazon Lists Ultimate Regeneration!

Back in 2010 we announced our first book, Ultimate Regeneration, which collated reviews and articles from the first four series of Doctor Who since 2005, tied together with a running commentary on what was happening in the show behind the scenes and in fandom.

Reaction to the title was amazing; pre-orders were enough to pay for a limited run (now close to being exhausted) and since the book was published we’ve sold around 200 copies!

With the first run trickling to an end, we took the step of releasing Ultimate Regeneration in electronic form as well as arranging a print on demand release so that the title remains available for readers to catch up on some interesting thoughts, opinions and ultimately an evolution in the minds of the chaps behind this very website over the years as Doctor Who came to mean something more than Tom Baker defeating the evil Zog with a jelly baby.

As you read the book, you will see how the team were slowly convinced – after a bright start that eventually faded by the second series – that the new Doctor Who under the stewardship of Russell T Davies was every bit as good as the original series, if not better.

Myself (Christian Cawley), Brian A. Terranova and Thomas W. Spychalski are now hugely pleased to be able to announced that the book – complete with stunning cover art from Anthony Dry – is now listed on Amazon for just £12.99

This is obviously a great advantage for the title, so if you’ve been holding out on buying a copy, why not add Ultimate Regeneration: The Incredible Resurrection Of Doctor Who to your wish list this Christmas, or take advantage of Amazon’s low postage costs?

If you’re not sure, don’t worry – via the link in the right sidebar you can download the first chapter, or you could use the Amazon “Look Inside” preview feature to get an idea of the book.

Meanwhile, a big thanks to everybody who supported the book’s first release earlier this year. We’re humbled by the reaction, and to answer a few emails all in one go – yes, we will be compiling a follow-up title!
