Announced just in time for Christmas, the Action Figure Collectors Set: Image of Fendahl is now available to pre-order.

Image of the Fendahl, for those not in the know, is the 1977 serial where the Fourth Doctor and Leela discover archaeologists experimenting on an anachronistic human skull, which turns out to be an artefact of the Fendahl – an ancient creature which begins to exert its influence on one of the groups number.

The set, which costs a massive £34.99 for an item that isn’t as desirable as other sets yet to be released, includes Leela, a Fendahleen infant, an adult, the skull itself and the display stand for said skull.

The set which exerts its own power over the Forbidden Planet staff, making them withhold it from shelves until the 23rd December, is available to pre-order for £34.99.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
