Matt Smith on Radio 2 Today!

Doctor Who and Matt Smith fans should be prepared to tune into BBC Radio 2 on Tuesday THIS afternoon when the Eleventh Doctor actor will be appearing on the Steve Wright show!

According to BBC listings, meanwhile, co-star Karen Gillan is also expected in the studio to accompany her Time Lord. At present we don’t know what they will be talking about, but it’s a fair bet that Christmas, Series 7 and perhaps even the 50th anniversary will be mentioned…

So far the information we have is that the show is on at 2pm – you probably know that already, just as you might be aware that the first hour of the show is taken up with almost solid tunes, so the guests aren’t likely to be ready until at least 3pm.

The show runs until 5pm, so there is plenty of chance to miss them. In this event you’ll be able to catch the show on BBC iPlayer later on.

In the event that you do miss Matt and Karen, don’t be completely dismayed as you will still have a chance of tenuous Whovian pleasure; the show’s third guest on Tuesday is none other than comedy legend John Cleese, who veteran fans will know appeared in 1979’s City of Death in an amusing cameo in a Paris art gallery.
