Doctor Who: The Fanzine

SFX Magazine always manage to do Doctor Who proud and to coincide with the best-television-show- in-the-world’s 48th birthday this month, the publication has once again released one of its brilliant “Collection” issues, with brand new, never before seen Doctor Who content!

Doctor Who: The Fanzine will be a continuation of previous SFX Doctor Who releases over the past few years containing articles such as:

Battle of the Superfans: Some of the show’s biggest fans go head to head to discover who knows the most about the Last of the Time Lords.

A brand new Matt Smith interview: The man behind the Eleventh Doctor discusses the tics and toks that make the current Doctor who he is.

Ten of the greatest Doctor Who moments you’ll probably never see: Scenes from Doctor Who’s missing episodes recreated by artist s behind The Reign of Terror DVD animations.

Series 6 episode guide: The usual (and brilliant) minute by minute breakdown of each episode from the latest series of Doctor Who.

But that’s only the tip of the iceberg, also included in the 180 page release is an interview with Doctor Who DVD head Dan Hall, Doctor Who writers choosing their favourite Doctor, a huge illustration which includes every Doctor Who monster ever (you have to see it to believe it!), 20 things to learn from Series Six, a fiftieth anniversary wishlist for Doctor Who and so much more!

Visit your local WH Smith or order your copy online via the SFX website. It’s completely unofficial, wonderful engaging and an absolute must-read!

While you’re at the SFX website, you can also find out what Doctor Who fans voted for in terms of content if they were to construct the “Ultimate Doctor Who Adventure”. See if you agree on the ultimate Doctor, ultimate villain, Ultimate Writer and ultimate Director and see how the data was painstakingly put together by the SFX team.
