Doctor Who Adventures Odd Freebie

Yes, that’s Optimus Prime, and no, we haven’t gone mad. Although the same can’t be said for Doctor Who Adventures, it would seem!

For some reason (it honestly is not that clear!) the newest issue of Doctor Who Adventures comes with a very strange free gift…

As well as a Silent mask and fingers to scare the hell out of passers-by (it is the Halloween issue after all!) there is also a free micro figure of Optimus Prime from the Transformers series.

It’s a KRE-O version, if that makes anyone stand up and take notice! Apparently the little LEGO-like figure has made a few free appearances at conventions as well as being given away in various free promotions but this is definitely the first time that he has been attached to Doctor Who Adventures or anything to do with Doctor Who overall! If you’re a collector of this type of thing, then you might opt to purchase DWA this time around…

The latest issue of Doctor Who Adventures looks to be one of the scariest yet and if you’re a collector it might be wise to pick an issue up as soon as you can, it comes with various freebies and the front cover boasts “Monsters, Skeletons, Ghosts and Witches” so there are bound to be some exclusive features that you won’t find in any other magazine.

If you can’t miss an issue of Doctor Who Adventures or if you would simply like to get your hands on a little version of Optimus Prime, then you can pick up the Halloween issue from your local shop now for £2.99.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!

Just to let people know this is Lasrt weeks magazine, which should be on the shelves still as the enw issue with glow in the dark pieces (fez??? 4 pieces of a dalek rememberance of the daleks sapceship ??) will be out Tommorow Thurdsay 27th October.

DWA do give oddities away as you always get your Dr Who gift, but also Top Gear trading Cards, Deadly 60 trading Cards. so its not unusal to bulk up the gifts with something non Doctor Who (it probably is part of the advertising revenues)
