Ice Warrior Competition Winners!

Doctor Who: The Silent Stars Go By

Regular Kasterborous readers will know that we recently launched a competition for one lucky fan to win a copy of The Silent Stars Go By, the new Doctor Who novel by Dan Abnett, thanks to BBC Books.

The book – released in late September – was available to the first name out of the hat who provided the correct answer to the following question:

For which long-running British comic has Dan Abnett been one of the most prolific contributors?

The answer, of course, is 2000AD.

We had a great response to the competition, and I’m very pleased to announce that Brian Stultz of Los Angeles is the lucky winner. His details have been sent to BBC Books for the book to be dispatched to him forthwith!

Meanwhile, Andrew G Dick wins the runners-up prize of a copy of Michael Moorcock’s 2010 Doctor Who novel The Coming of the Terraphiles, which has nothing to do with Kasterborous contributor Brian Terranova (contrary to his claims…).

So congratulations to both our winners, and thanks to everyone for taking part – we’ll be having a new competition in just a few days time!

If you had your heart set on a copy, you can purchase The Silent Stars Go By on Amazon for just £9.99 – not a bad price at all!
