BBC Worldwide has announced today that the critically acclaimed and award-winning Doctor Who Experience will be extending its run at London’s Olympia Two until February 22nd 2012 due to huge public demand!
Since opening the TARDIS doors in February this year, the event has become one of the capital’s premier tourist attractions, with over 155,000 excited visitors having the chance to star in their very own Doctor Who adventure as the Doctor’s companion.
The attraction, which is regularly updated with the latest monsters and artifacts from the show, has been described as ‘the nearest thing to actually being in the TV show itself’, and allows visitors to join the Doctor on a journey through time and space, encountering some of the best-loved and scariest monsters from the hit international television series.
Doctor Who star Matt Smith is certainly happy with the extension:
“I am delighted that the Doctor Who Experience is extending its stay in London. It puts you at the heart of the adventure and the exhibition just gets better and better as more attractions are added.”
This will be the last chance to visit the Experience’s London residence before it moves to its permanent home in Cardiff, Wales later in 2012.

I went yesterday to it and I have to say its a bargain. The TARDIS recreation is great but the one that got me was seeing the Tennant TARDIS set which had me as giddy as a schoolboy!
Also I will mention the staff who just dealt with the schoolkids queries, while i was there. They had obviously done their research and also were happy to take photos of you against the props.
I wont spoil the interactive elements but theyre brilliant.
People should take the chance to see it!
(and no im not related to the organisers)!!
