Carey Mulligan with Craig Ferguson

Since 2007’s Blink, Carey Mulligan has gone on to appear in a string of acclaimed movie roles, even receiving an Oscar nomination for the 2009 movie An Education.

But despite a fascinating career over the past four years, nothing can have been more amazing for her than appearing on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson

Ms Mulligan looks fantastic in this interview, screened just a few days after Matt Smith joined Craig, and if you watch through to the end you’ll catch a mention of Blink

And yes, Carey does regularly appear in very serious roles; following Blink, she appeared on Broadway in a production of Chekhov’s The Seagull
