Bowler Hats, Lesbians and Cash Prizes!

While in LA to collect his Scream Award for Best Science Fiction actor Matt Smith made yet another hilarious appearance on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson to chat about what’s the acceptable age to wear a Bowler hat up until, Swedish Lesbians and the origins of Jack and Jill.

Matt cutting dapper figure in his long flowing coat and bowler hat (what about the leather Matt?) described his spiky Scream trophy as ‘a very lethal weapon’ before going on to briefly mention the Christmas Special… and Craig’s screenwriting career (the film is The Big Tease in case you were wondering however what’s more horrifying is that Craig is at least partially responsible for Doc Martin – he wrote Saving Grace where the character first appeared. No wonder he stays Stateside.)

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
