When Time Froze…

Has the BBC inadvertently given away a spoiler for the season finale of this year’s Doctor Who?

Maybe, is the answer.

Doctor Who: The Impossible Astronaut

Recently, the good old Beeb revealed the episode titles for the last few episodes of Doctor Who Confidential. The title for episode thirteen of the documentary show was revealed as When Time Froze.

Speculation has already started as to what that may mean in relation to episode thirteen and its contents. Will the Doctor freeze time at the last second so that he can replace himself with some kind of copy (not really his style)? Will time freeze and then someone come to his rescue? Or is the title When Time Froze a massive red herring? The BBC have certainly released spoiler related information on Doctor Who ahead of schedule before but this year’s run of episodes have been as closely guarded as possible so it does seem strange that they would make such a strange error at the last minute.

Unless that was part of the master plan in order to keep us guessing.

Speculation is all that we have to go on at the moment however; Kasterborous’s advice is to avoid the spoilers and enjoy the episode on the day. Wait and see what twists and turns emerge.

Because knowing Steven Moffat, there’s going to be one hell of a show…

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!

Not the first time they’ve been weird and spoilery. In fact the photo on this article is the perfect example. Remember how they had a huge “who’s going to die” thing in the magazines etc before the start of Season 6? And how they then released this photo on the official site a day before the episode went out? In other words, completely spoiling it?

  2. Personally I think “When Time Froze” would be a cooler title for the actual Doctor Who episode than something like “The Wedding of River Song,” but that’s just me.

Tell us what you think!
