Doctor Who and politics seldom mix well together. Normally if the Doctor meets an authority figure, he has a severe lack of regard for them unless they prove themselves (unless he’s in his third incarnation in which case he was always up for a bit of elite brown-nosing).
Bring things into the real world and you will not find a lot of talk about Doctor Who in the world of politics.
Which is why it’s so odd that this picture has cropped up!
During a speech given by the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, regarding his $450 billion jobs act, a picture was taken of the crowd looking on in wonder. One woman seems to be recording events with a phone that looks exactly like a little TARDIS!
Not exactly something that you would expect to be brought along to a political debate.
Saying that, it could be a notebook or a Dictaphone but it is definitely in the style of our favourite little blue box!
