Ho-Oh-No! Christmas Spoilers!

The Doctors back and his new threads are out of this world. BBC News were afforded the opportunity to ruin Christmas for everyone by showing these candid snaps of location filming for this years yuletide adventure.

Residents from the Rhibina area of Cardiff got to see a spacesuit wearing Doctor interacting with Outnumbered star Claire Skinner, who guest stars as Madge Arwell, who along with her two children is evacuated to Dorset as the pair filmed the 60 minute special at Y Groes.

The suit itself is a little reminiscent of the kind worn by the Sontaran warrior Linx in the Pertwee era serial The Time Warrior– if the Christmas episode is as delightfully daft as that serial then Christmas will indeed be magical.

Series 6 concludes this Saturday with The Wedding of River Song which airs on BBC One and BBC One HD at 19:05 in the UK and at 9/8c on BBC America in the States.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
