The season finale of Doctor Who, The Wedding of River Song, is due out this Saturday and you could cut the tension in the air with a knife!
But this being the dynamic and fast paced world of television that we live in, the Doctor Who production team have already moved on from Series 6 and have begun filming Series 7!
This clip from a handheld device (courtesy of @ahremsee) has appeared on YouTube from the filming of this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special, due to star Matt Smith, Claire Skinner and Bill Bailey.
The sequence takes place outside the TARDIS, with what looks like Skinner and quite possibly the Doctor in a spacesuit with the helmet on backwards!
Who knows how this will integrate into the episode itself or what delights we can expect from Steven Moffat’s brain but you can be sure that it’ll be entertaining and very, very Christmassy!
Doctor Who finishes its current run this Saturday and will then take a well-deserved rest for a few months before jumping back onto television screens at Christmas…
