Kill Hitler at The Lass!

With the premiere and series finale screenings now long established at Manchester’sLass O’Gowrie pub, landlord Gareth Kavanagh hs decided to extend the screenings to include each and every episode for remainder of Doctor Who Series 6 from Saturday, 27th August through to the finale.

So if you fancy watching Who in a room full of like minded souls, the Lass is for you!

Even better, as luck would have it August 27th is also the date of the regular Who meet-up (Vworp) at the Lass O’Gowrie, so there is every chance of a good crowd, especially with the Pride festival in town that weekend.

For the uninitiated, The Lass O’Gowrieis an award-winning traditional pub down the side of the BBC, just off Oxford Road. With a great atmosphere, the pub will be playing the episodes on a digital big screen with 5.1 sound in their Salmon Room. You can find more info about the venue at or over at their bustling Facebook group (search for the Lass O’Gowrie).

Gareth tells me that he just might (no promises mind, printers permitting) have copies of Vworp Vworp #2 with to hand on the night which would make it the unofficial launch for this most-anticipated Doctor Who fanzine
