With all the speculation that’s going on right now in terms of what’s going to happen next in Doctor Who (River is really the Rani! Omega is in charge of the Silence! The Pandorica is actually the Timelash!) it’s pleasant to get a bit of clarification with some more official revelations.
Nothing big or to spoilerific but just some good clean conformation of upcoming episode titles for the remaining six episodes of this years’ series.
As you’re all aware, episode eight will be called Let’s Kill Hitler. Following on from that and in respective numerical order, we have Night Terrors by Mark Gatiss, The Girl Who Waited by Tom MacRae, The God Complex by Toby Whithouse and Closing Time by Gareth Roberts.
Closing Time was codenamed “The Lodger Part Two” by Matt Smith, due to the return of James Corden as Craig and Daisy Haggard as Sophie who were in 2010’s The Lodger. However, returning characters aside, this episode promises to be a different beast altogether as it sees the return of the Cybermen and for the first time on screen since 1975’s Revenge of the Cybermen, Cybermats as well!
As for episode 13, the big, juicy, crowd-pleasing finale that is set to blow our minds clean out of our skulls, the title is yet to be officially revealed due in part to its revelatory nature.
There is a hint somewhere else within this site though, in a very recent article. Go and explore if you want…
Doctor Who returns to the air this Saturday August 27th on BBC One.
