Doctor Who Insider #5

Doctor Who Insider, the stateside magazine for all things Doctor Who is to release a new issue this month and it’s a belter!

Issue five goes on sale August 4th 2011 and is absolutely crammed from page to page to satisfy every Doctor Who fan from San Diego to Sutherland.

This month, Insider will be talking with none other than John Barrowman about Torchwood: Miracle Day and how it feels to be back playing the role of devilish rouge Captain Jack Harkness.

As well as interviews with Louise Jameson (Leela alongside the Fourth Doctor) and Mike Tucker (FX maestro for Doctor Who’s return in 2005) there is also a look at last year’s Victory of the Daleks in Data File, the deadly Cybermen are looked at in Time Scoop. Nexus Point delves deeper into when the second Doctor was originally caught and put on trial by the Time Lords for his interference in other worlds and Stephen Thorne talks about giving “that voice” to his performance as the legendary Time Lord Omega.

Plus there is all the latest news and reviews on DVD’s, audio adventures, novels and toys.

All this and a double sided poster featuring Captain Jack on one side and Victory of the Daleks on the other? You’d be mad to miss out!

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
