Character’s Second Wave

Doctor Who - The Doctor's Wife Toys

On the eve of the second instalment of Doctor Who: Series 6 Character Options has released the second wave of its 2011 action gigures for pre-order.

Coming 8th August fans can get their hands on the bearded Doctor, complete with straight jacket, from Day of the Moon (which will probably be lacking in at least two areas of articulation!), Idris the personification of the Doctors greatest companion, the TARDIS, and Uncle, the patchwork humanoid who lured the Doctor to House with false promises of a belated Time Lord reunion, both of which appeared in Neil Gaiman’s masterful The Doctor’s Wife.

These figures are available now from Forbidden Planet for just £8.99!

About

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
