Great news on the Ghost Train competition front – last Sunday marked the closing day for our latest quest to find a comic book artist, and we have had a great reaction with nine very talented people getting in touch!
Due to a few personal things going on here at K Towers we left the door open for a few more days before settling down and preparing a dossier of the entries to send out to each of the judges (yes, we really do take this that seriously!)
Over the next few days they’ll all be receiving emails with instances of the entrants best examples, and from here we will be whittling the selection down to three semi-finalists who will be invited to produce a single page of the script. From here, the judges will once again decide, this time on a winner, and then the real work begins!
We’re REALLY pleased with the quality of the entries, so this is going to be as tough a call as it was choosing between Justin Abbot and Rick Lundeen (and eventually we used both of them) for our previous Time Leech serial in 2009…

It just occurred to me – is Ghost Train the final title? Bear in mind that there was a recent Torchwood audio drama of that title, too. Then again, there have been two Death to the Daleks (a TV episode and a Big Finish audio) so there’s probably no rule against reusing titles.
