Five and Ten Makes Fifteen!

It’s funny how things can come full circle, how the universe seems to line up in a certain way to create a bizarre order.

Who would have even thought that years after playing the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison would return to the role as if he’d never been away from it, then less than a year later his daughter who occasionally sat beside him at fan signings would become the Doctor’s actual daughter (for all intents and purposes) in The Doctor’s Daughter. Even stranger must be the fact that the actors who played the Fifth and Tenth Doctor are now in laws as David Tennant is married to Georgia Moffett!

But that’s all links to the past coming back round to build a bright future for a new player in the Moffett-Tennant mix. It seems that Georgia Moffett’s son Tyler has ambitions at the tender age of nine to be a future Doctor and with the family that he’s in, it seems highly possible and likely!

It’s a name that you can imagine dangling in the credits of the show as the music comes screeching in and with two Doctor’s and their daughter to fuel his passions there’s no way that he couldn’t do anything but bring a definitive take on the Time Lord.

Davison stated:

“There are an awful lot of young people lining up to play that part, though, so it may be difficult.”

But none in the unique position that this child is in! Here’s to the Fifteenth Doctor meeting his Fifth and Tenth incarnations in the future, a family reunion of the most literal kind!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
