Doctor Who Charity Auction

This week sees a charity auction of Doctor Who goodies in order to raise money for various charities such as Great Ormond Street Hospital, Children with Cancer UK & Maggie’s Centres for Cancer Care.

Fundraiser Twelveby12 has organised the event, they have already raised a staggering £20000 since 2006 but that is only just the beginning!

The Ultimate Doctor Who auction, as it’s being called, has a myriad of artworks (one hundred and ten, count ‘em!) as well as some signed items that you can get your hands on. All these pieces are created by “Doctor Who cast, creatives and other celebrities” so you know that you are getting your hands on a rare piece of work.

This is all in aid of some of the best possible causes so it’s time to dig deep into your pockets and buy a little “exclusive” merchandise that you can’t get anywhere else.

Remember, this auction is taking place this week and this week only so you don’t have much time left. Rather than just putting some money into a jar, visit the auction website and do something a little fun and a little different to help out!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!

Thank you very much for placing the news article, I’ll add you onto my publicity page and link back to you.

As the article says… some truly awesome one off items available… most ending tomorrow night, with a select few a day later :)

    Thanks again
