Doctor and Craig, Sitting in a Tree…

BBC One’s latest drama compilation trailer features a few scenes from the second half of Doctor Who Series 6, anf features the briefest of glimpses of Matt Smith and James Corden.

Corden returns as Craig Owens to reprise the role he played successfully in 2010′s The Lodger, and if the dialogue from the followingh snippet is anything to go by, he and the Doctor seem to be getting a little closer…

“Doctor are you going to kiss me?”
“Yes Craig. Yes I am.”

Not a sight any of us will forget in a hurry…

Doctor Who Series 6 continues at some point in the future.

Well, it’s preferable to butting heads like last time. I’m looking forward to the Lodger sequel and the second half of the season in general. they keep saying it’s returning in late summer and as far as I’m concerned, that means *before* September so fingers crossed we’re only a month away!

What on Earth is Karen Gillan wearing? It looks like she’s been attacked by a white leather sofa. The samurai sword suits her, I wonder if she’s had any training from Madame Vastra & Jenny.

@Rick. Summer officially ends on Sept. 23, so I still say we’re looking early to mid September, probably the weekend after Miracle Day ends its BBC 1 run since they don’t like running DW and Torchwood at the same time. The Edinburgh preview showing of Let’s Kill Hitler is August 26, so it will not air before then.

I expect we’ll know for certain probably by the end of the month as BBC America and Space will no doubt announce their airdates around then.
