Who Do You Think You Are Kidding Mr Moffat?

Does it hint at the presence of the feared reset button? Does it mean after the cuddly, warm interpretation of Richard Nixon we’ll be seeing the all singing, all dancing, kitten loving Hitler? Or is it just the title to the latest Bialystock and Bloom production?

Spoiler Episode 8 Title

Whatever the motivation, according to Your TV Week the title for the eighth episode and concluding part of the ‘game changing’ cliff hanger has been confirmed as…

Let’s Kill Hitler.

According to their feature on this Saturday’s A Good Man Goes to War that good man will be uniting him and his comrades together to give Hitler a wooden overcoat.

Nothing official has been confirmed but in SFX’s spoiler free preview there’s this tantalising little tease:

“And please, please, please, if anyone has leaked the title for the next episode onto the internet, avoid the temptation to check it out. When the caption comes up at the end, “The Doctor Will Be Back In…” it was so unexpected and made us grin so much, we’d hate you to miss having the same experience…”

So anyone for a rousing chorus of “Springtime for Hitler”?

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
