The Greatest Companions Ever?

If democracy has taught us anything it’s that DEMOCRACY DOESN’T WORK.

However there’s no need to be downhearted about nothing being equal and nobody having the right to express their opinion when you can deny the general unfairness by voting for the Greatest Doctor Who Companion of All Time.

Ranker are hosting an incredibly subjective list of who’s who in Who and unsurprisingly its dominated by the Nu-Who series’.

Coming in at number one is Amy Pond with 90% of voters listing her in their own top ten followed by Captain Jack Harkness and Donna Noble.

Notable absentees are The Brigadier, Sgt Benton and Dr. Harry Sullivan while you may wish to reserve your outrage for the inclusion of Jenny, Madame de Pompadour and Lady Christiana De Souza positioned at twelve, seventeenth and twentieth respectively.

But don’t despair – you can counter-vote anyone’s decision! If only elections worked that way there’d be no Cameron and Kamelion would be Prime Minister!

Ho hum…

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
