Suranne on Idris

Among the many mysteries hinted at in Neil Gaiman’s The Doctor’s Wife is the identity of Idris, as played by Suranne Jones.

There have been suggestions that she is somehow linked to the Doctor’s TARDIS (as indicated by the character’s name) or that she might share some properties with the time machine.

Until Saturday we won’t know for sure, but thanks to Digital Spy interviewing Jones we can speculate a little bit more until the big moment arrives…

The Doctor’s Wife airs on BBC One and BBC HD at 6.30 pm on Saturday, May 14th, and 8/9c on BBC America!

Suranne Jones. It doesn’t hurt to look at her, does it?

I’ve been inadvertently spoilered re: Idris, just by glancing at the tiny preview in my girlfriend’s celeby mag. :(

All I’ll say is…….. no, I won’t. Just watch the story and find out.
