Prequels and Body bags

There’s something a’stiring in the murky waters. There be something out there taken men from the good ship Fancy. An accursed…oh forget it… I can’t do it. I even tried to go method I’m writing this in the bath while wearing a tri-corner hat and I contracted scurvy and for what?

Well so that BBC America viewers could get a taste of the prequel to this weeks episode The Curse of the Black Spot.

Join Captain Avery (Hugh Bonneville) as he pens a warning for history! See the empty decks of the Fancy! Her what sounds like the soothing sounds of a siren call!

If that seems a little too spoilery then there’s always a fluffy piece of nothing from the just released Doctor Who Insider episode 2 where Karen Gillan shares her insight into being shot and lying in a body bag. Apparently one’s fun and the other isn’t. Try to guess which one! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprise…

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
