Billie Piper: Totally the End

Speaking in an interview with the red top abomination that is the Daily Mirror, Billie Piper has talked about events in her life as a celebrity and also a little bit about her future with Doctor Who.

The actress remembers her time living alone when she was fifteen and already very well know and how it could be quite overwhelming. She also talks about her seven year marriage to Radio DJ Chris Evans and her new life with actor husband Laurence Fox and their child.

The interesting snippet of information that she reveals is with regard to her future with Doctor Who, about which she remarks:

“It’s totally the end of Doctor Who for me, too. I can’t imagine anything would bring me back, and they’re done with Rose…They’ve got this great new set up with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan and it works brilliantly. So there’s no way in the world it will happen again for me – well not for the foreseeable future.”

So there you go, for anyone who reads that Rose may be returning through a dimensional hole ripped open in Pete’s world and ending up in our universe can forget about it now. Besides the fact that the show cannot keep retreading old ground we have the fact that Rose’s story is nice and complete and reached full circle in The End of Time, Part Two.

One day she’ll come back, yes…one day, maybe for the fiftieth anniversary. But until then she must go forward with all her new work and the Doctor Who production team will go forward with theirs…

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
