You may or may not have already heard about or seen for yourself Matt Smith’s appearance on The One Show on Tuesday, but if you missed it, then you missed your chance to be among the first to hear of the fast food treatment we’ll be getting this weekend.
Smith’s appearance was full of delightful conversation that touched upon everything from self portraits to bow ties to Doctor Who stunts and football. There was even a rather amusing clip of the Doctor and his Ganger getting to know each other from this Saturday’s The Almost People (check it out in the video embedded below)!
But the real noteworthy moment from the interview was hearing Matt Smith more or less confirm that the next episode will conclude in (spoiler alert!) a Burger King restaurant. He even revealed that the much-awaited cliffhanger will itself be “a real whopper!” Naturally, such a shocking statement can only be interpreted literally. But don’t take our word for it – watch for yourself!

I hope they include some reference to the events of “Time” and “Space” because in that one the Doctor was all “get a room” with the two Amys – and now here he’s having a mutual love-fest with his double.
Argh. Getting madder by the second that (officially, anyway) we’re not going to see said “whopper” here in North America for another week!
