Wondercon, Trailers & Spoilers?

BBC America have released some behind the scenes footage from Doctor Who Series 6 as part of their Insider TV series, which features Karen Gillan, Matt Smith, Alex Kingston and many other stars from the show.

There is plenty to see here, too – you might just find out something your don’t want to just yet, however, so press play with caution…

The BBC America trailer and this behind the scenes video were released to coincide with the appearances of writer Neil Gaiman, actor Mark Sheppard and director Toby Haynes at the Wondercon event this weekend, where lots of interesting information has been revealed…

…so much so in fact that to take in the full lot you should head over to io9.com where you can take in Charlie Jane Anders’ full summary. We’ve gleaned a couple of handy spoilers thought, that you might wish to check…

For instance, you may or may not be interested to know that Amy is hiding something from the Doctor.

Or you might want to know about a piece of action that includes the dialogue: “Time Lords… lots and lots of Time Lords.”

You might also not need to know that Neil Gaiman paritcularly likes the following dialogue from his episode, which originally didn’t feature Rory:

“Amy tells Rory off for leaving the Doctor on his own, and Rory says, ‘Well, he’s a Time Lord, he’ll be fine.” And she looks at Rory with infinite compassion and says, ‘Rory, it’s just what they’re called. It doesn’t mean he actually knows what he’s doing.’”

Not long to go now, people – Doctor Who Series 6 is coming!
