Tom’s Big Finish is Underway!

Big Finish have announced some great news – while many Doctor Who fans sit awaiting the new series of adventures for the Eleventh Doctor and Amy, the Fourth Doctor and Leela are getting into the swing of a brand new series of audio adventures!

Recording commenced at 10am on Friday 22nd April on Big Finish’s The Fourth Doctor Adventures, starring Tom Baker and Louise Jameson.

The first six-part audio series debuts on CD and download in January 2012, and pre-orders are already available at www.bigfinish.com

Our photo on the right shows Tom and Louise enjoying the Easter sun before recording commenced with Scene 2, INT TARDIS with the Doctor and Leela.

Hardcore Doctor Who fans, completists and TARDIS afficionados will be very pleased to learn that the interior of the TARDIS is the wooden Season 14 (1976/77) “secondary” console room variant…

Doesn’t it look great in audio?

After the somber news dominating this past week, it’s nice to see another two greats, Tom and Louise back in action.

Whilst it’s a sad fact of reality the many wonderful people who have made our great show won’t be around forever, so let’s cherish them whilst we can.

Totally agree Andrew. Two of my absolute favourites here although the events of this week leave a very heavy heart still.
